NYC

"Into Central Park I go, to lose my mind and find my soul."

Believe it or not, New York is my favorite place to go when I need to recharge my (career) battery. The grind of this industry can be draining, but I find that the hustle and bustle of the city is exactly what I need to quiet my mind and feed my soul. I am grateful for this passion of mine and the journey that comes along with it.

Spending time with family in NYC is wonderful, but experiencing Broadway together is incomparable (since they're two of my favorite things...along with puppies, of course). Actually, combine those three things...oh, and add some wine, and I'd be the happiest gal in the world! But seriously, being able to enjoy something so dear to my heart with my family was priceless.

We saw Come From Away and Dear Evan Hansen. I was on cloud nine being able to see Ben Platt perform as Evan Hansen before he takes his final bow this weekend (Thanks, Uncle Brian and Aunt Michele)! Ben's performance was genuine, inspiring and just overall brilliant! To me he's irreplaceable in this role, but I guess we will see! Who knows, maybe I'll play Zoe one of these days.

Between all the foodie experiences, shopping on Fifth Avenue, taking walks through Central Park, catching some of Broadway's best and enjoying quality time with family, I'd have to say that my trip to New York is one for the books. Now that I'm back in Los Angeles, I'm feeling confident and refreshed. I started this week with a whole new mindset (not to mention I'm slaying my auditions and callbacks). Yes, callbacks! So, stay tuned...I have a good feeling about what's to come.

See you in a few weeks, NYC! XO.
